Full House Acquires Nevada Casino
The Stockman’s Casino and Holiday Inn Express in Fallon, Nevada has
recently begun negations with a Las Vegas based buyer. The Stockman
casino is currently a family owned establishment. As of Monday, Full
House Resorts Inc. offered $25.5 million dollars for all outstanding
shares of Stockman’s Casino Inc. The deal depends on regulatory
approval and will be financed with equity, debt, and cash.
Full House vice president of operations and project management, T.
Wesley Elam, seems very interested in the location of the casino.
“Fallon is a nice area with great growing potential,” exclaims Elam.
“The Stockman’s prime location with plenty of land will allow us to
expand easily as the market warrants.”
James R. Peters maintain operations over the casino until negotiations
have been finalized. The casino has been owned and operated by the
Peters family since 1969. “I have been working here for 31 years and
the time has come to slow down a little and enjoy life more fully,”
reminisces Peters.
Not only will there be an “under new management” sign hanging outside
of Stockman’s, the casino is currently undergoing renovations. Upon
completion, the casino floor will span 8,400 square-feet. The floor
will hold 280 slot machines, keno, and four table games. In addition
it will offer a bar, a coffee shop, and a restaurant. The adjacent
Holiday Inn Express is made up of 98 hotel rooms, meeting rooms, a
sauna, a fitness club, and indoor-outdoor swimming pools.
Full House CEO Andre M. Hilliou is looking forward to the “immediate
and consistent income” that is sure to balance the company’s Indian
casino development projects. Full House has management agreements
with Indian casinos in New Mexico, Montana, and Michigan. The company
also manages a restaurant, racetrack, and a casino in Delaware.
